Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

What is the big deal about an oatmeal raisin cookie recipe?

Normally I would say nothing.

But, it is my nature to cook up to five different versions of one type of recipe.

Having said that, this is the recipe I like best for oatmeal raisin cookies.

It stayed moist and tasty and it was just the right amount of spice and sugar to be considered a really good cookie recipe.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

3/4 cup Butter, softened

3/4 cup Sugar
3/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
3/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
2 3/4 cup Rolled oats
1 cup Raisins

♥ Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

♥ In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar until smooth.

♥ Beat in the eggs and vanilla until fluffy.

♥ Stir together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

♥ Gradually beat into the butter mixture.

♥ Stir in the oats and raisins.

♥ Drop by the teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

♥ Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

♥ Cool slightly, remove from the cookie sheet to a wire rack.
